Man gives name as he shows his many marijuana plants in YouTube video, gets arrested

Unfortunately, William Bradley doesn’t get any brownie points for giving the police one of their easier busts. WTNH News 8 is reporting on the Westbrook, Connecticut man who went on YouTube, showed his extensive collection of marijuana plants, gave his name and PO box, and wound up getting arrested.

WVIT NBC Connecticut notes that in the video, shot in his storage unit at Nod Place in Clinton, he asked for donations so he could then give the marijuana away, for free, to people who are ill with terminal cancer. He also mentions that he is suffering from terminal cancer as well. In what might be telling as to why the Connecticut man would do something like this, he describes a motorcycle accident in which he suffered a head injury only a week prior to the video’s release.

When police showed up, they found two pounds of pot, hashish, cocaine, and oxycodone. This isn’t Mr. Bradley’s first encounter with the law. WTNH notes that in 2008 he was arrested over 10 pounds of pot.

This time around, Bradley was charged with possession of narcotics, marijuana, and hashish, each with the intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a drug factory.
