Clayton Homes, which has been in business since 1956, sells manufactured and modular homes across the United States. Employees of their Wichita, Kansas location are now stunned after falling victim to a bizarre and brazen theft. As KWCH Eyewitness News 12 reports, burglars made off with pretty much nearly everything in the kitchen in one of their model units.

It would appear that the theft happened between late Sunday evening into and early Monday morning. KWCH spoke with Clayton Homes General Manager Kevin McCracken, who thinks that there must have been more than one person behind it and that they must have had a truck considering what they made off with. Mr. McCraken says thieves made off with a side-by-side refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, glass-top range, a vent hood, wood cabinets, and yes, even the kitchen sink.

Between the stolen items and the damaged property, the total loss for Clayton Homes is thousands of dollars.
