Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton’s treatment on Twitter worse than his performance

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton may not have a playoff win, but he has enemies after his lackluster performance during a 27-10 wild-card loss against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.

Dalton threw two interceptions and fumbled twice (lost one) during the loss. He finished with a 67.0 passer rating during Cincinnati’s third consecutive playoff loss with Dalton as starting quarterback. Dalton had a 51.4 passer rating during the 2011 playoffs and 44.7 last year.

As a result, several NFL fans ripped Dalton on Twitter after the loss.

Should I burn my Andy Dalton jersey?

Andy Dalton is like a car, buy it, drive it, loses most of its Value. We need a QB that would be like buying a house or S&P 500 stock. — William Reynolds (@reyndogg1) January 5, 2014

I refuse to be a bengals fan till they get rid of Andy dalton

“@ShOrTyBoRoFf: If Andy Dalton is starting quarterback next year then I will become a steelers fan.”that's the way to go! :) — Busta Beezy (@Real_BZ619) January 5, 2014

Tim Tebow has more playoff wins than Andy Dalton. Bring in Johnny Football.

Dalton, welcome to Tony Romo’s world. Of course, Romo usually struggles in December and does not give his fan base a chance to suffer in the postseason.

Unfortunately for Dalton, his playoff failures have put a magnifying glass on his career and drawn a lot of angry followers.
