A 24-year-old Brooklyn man was fatally shot in the head in front of two young children outside his family's brownstone following an argument over a woman, police sources said.
George Lee was shot around 9 p.m. Monday as he stood outside his home on Kosciuszko St. in Bedford-Stuyvesant with two young relatives nearby, the sources said.
Lee died at the scene. The killer fled and remains at large.
Friends and sources said Lee had been involved in a romantic rivalry over a woman and had been arguing with her not long before the shooting.
"He got shot over a girl - right in front of \[the children\]," said a family friend, who declined to give his name.
Friends said Lee, who was known as "G-Money," was a hard-working mechanic who served as a supervisor at an auto repair shop.
"I've known him all his life," the friend said. "He's a working man."
