Jeremy Lamb comes up with a nasty crossover for the Summer League game-winner (Video)

The NBA Summer League does not have a particularly strong reputation as a competitive atmosphere. With teams focused primarily on teaching rookies their system, scouting young talent, and maybe even trying out new things in a low-pressure environment. Winning games is not a paramount concern, nor a meaningful building block for future dominance. If it were, then the Golden State Warriors would ride a wave of Summer League success to the NBA title every year.

Nevertheless, a cool crossover is a cool crossover and a game-winner is a game-winner. So we should give credit to Oklahoma City Thunder guard Jeremy Lamb, one-time Walmart model and a second-year pro who could take on a bigger role with the West contender next season. On Monday, Lamb finished off OKC's game against the Orlando Magic in the Orlando Summer League with a vicious crossover on Maurice Harkless (also the victim of a Reggie Jackson posterization earlier in the game) to come away with a narrow win.

In the grand scheme of things, this play means very little. Of course, that doesn't mean it's not a good way to spend a few seconds of your day. Enjoy.
