Kevin Harvick says he knew that he made the right decision to move to Stewart-Haas at Charlotte test

For Kevin Harvick, affirmation that he made the right decision in moving to Stewart-Haas Racing for 2014 didn't take very long.

The long-time Richard Childress Racing driver announced that he was moving to SHR before the 2013 season and said that it only took two laps at the December Charlotte test to know that he was in the right spot with his new team.

Stewart-Haas Racing was the first stop on the Sprint Media Tour, which runs through Thursday. Though when the four SHR drivers were introduced, it looked more like a group mug shot than the start of a press conference.

Tony Stewart said that his leg is approximately 65 percent healed and confirmed that he'll be ready to take the track for practice before the Sprint Unlimited exhibition race on Feb. 14. And team co-owner Gene Haas talked about his continued interest in owning a Formula 1 race team. After reports surfaced of his bid to F1, series boss Bernie Ecclestone didn't seem too optimistic about Haas's chances.
