For Sale: Atlanta mansion featuring its own full-sized baseball diamond

If you love baseball as much we do, you'll want to check out this incredible mansion that recently hit the market in Atlanta, GA. The 10.8-acre gated estate is valued at $9.7 million, and with good reason. It has just about everything you could imagine, including a helicopter pad, a Hartley-Botanic greenhouse and an elevator to help you navigate between the five bedrooms, nine bathrooms and numerous other rooms a little easier.

Oh, and yes, there's also a full-sized baseball diamond in the backyard that serves as quite an upgrade over the makeshift diamonds many of us had to work with during our childhood. Granted, there would be a ton of maintenance involved to keep that infield playable and looking spectacular. Not to mention the fact it seems to be geared towards right-handed power hitters, but still, many of us would give up more than we're willing to admit to call that our backyard.

Here's a little more information on the home courtesy of Aol Real Estate:

Still not impressed? The home itself is a Mediterranean masterpiece, boasting terrazzo floors, dripping crystal chandeliers and even walls upholstered in silk. Our friends at Curbed joke that the home is so outlandish that the elevator seems "more like an afterthought." A classy home run or a gaudy strikeout? You decide.

If you can't decide based on the overhead shot, here's a better look at the exterior and interior.

Personally, I'd rate it somewhere between a home run and a strikeout. Maybe a ground rule double into the left field shrubbery. It's a beautiful home no doubt, but the only real attractions for me are the baseball diamond and maybe the pool.

It's also interesting to note that as of right now, no one seems to know who actually owns this home. That seems a little strange, but we can at least confirm it's not the same property that Tom Glavine put up for sale in 2012.
