Bet You Didn't Know

In Greek myth, Theseus was the founder of Athens, and Phaedra was his second wife. He had kidnapped his first wife Hippolyta from the Amazons and had a son with her, but as men often do, he forgot all about his wife once he laid eyes on the much-younger Phaedra. Karma can be a real kick in the teeth, though. Phaedra married Theseus and gave birth to twins, but then proceeded to fall madly in love with another man... the son of Theseus' first marriage! These poor souls didn't even have Jerry Springer to help them sort it all out.
