'Parks and Recreation' Sneak Peek: Murder in London

Amy Poehler as Leslie Knope in NBC's "Parks and Recreation."

Ron Swanson likes bacon, whittling, cutting taxes, and smooth jazz.

He does not like tourism.

When "Parks and Recreation" returns for its sixth season this week, Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) and the whole Pawnee parks department gang is in London. And Leslie is even Leslie-r than ever — excitedly planning outings, sharing city trivia, and booking bus tours.

In a bit of a twist, April (Aubrey Plaza) is also psyched to go sight-seeing — to all the places where Jack the Ripper killed someone.

"If I could go back in time, I would go back when Jack Ripper was alive so he could murder me," she says in this preview clip.

But Ron (Nick Offerman) is not impressed with London. "You call that a river?" he scoffs while standing by the Thames. "Try the Mississippi, pal."

The one-hour "Parks and Rec" Season 6 premiere airs Thursday, Sept. 26 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
