'Nashville' Poster Revealed: If It Ain't Broke...

Don't fix it. That seems to be the thought process behind the new poster for the second season of ABC's musical catfight country drama. The guitar-throne chair that we all wish we had in our family room at home is still there. Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) and Rayna (Connie Britton) look hot as can be with feathered hair and golden outfits, which is no surprise because the gals are in the same outfits they wore in the cover art from last season.

However, this time around, Juliette is the dominant crooner, with perfect peacock posture as she throws mad shade at Rayna, who's perched on a piano and looking down all sad-like and distracted, which is no wonder, given how the freshman season ended.

Spoilers alert: What we know is that Rayna is in a coma after a terrible car accident. Deacon is, of course, worried about Rayna, and Juliette is just plain annoyed by all of it. Angry baby daddy Deacon 's career is as big a wreck as his car, and the trailer below shows him asking if Rayna is going to die. (All signs point to no.)

And in the rival romance department, "Smash" veteran Will Chase shows up and promptly begins crushing on Rayna — hopefully, when she wakes from that coma because that would be awkward.

"Nashville" Season 2 premieres Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 10 p.m. on ABC.
