He might have had a nasty headache otherwise, like another gunshot victim in Germany in 2010, who lived five years with a bullet in the back of his head because he forgot he had been shot, according to the Associated Press.

The 35-year-old man said he had been drunk on New Year's Eve when he remembered a hit to the back of his head, but he didn't see a doctor until five years later, when he noticed a lump he thought was a cyst, according to the Associated Press.

The bullet may have fallen onto his head from above after someone fired it into the sky.

Reuters reported the man did have a sore head sometimes, but he "wasn't really one for going to the doctor."
