NBC lands first Boehner interview as House Speaker

John Boehner (R-Ohio) will sit down with "NBC Nightly News" anchor Brian Williams on Jan. 6 for his first interview as Speaker of the House. The Williams-Boehner interview is scheduled to take place in the Speaker's ceremonial office, with portions airing on the evening newscast and online in an extended version.

Boehner's made a few TV appearances since Republicans won big in the 2010 midterms, including a weepy interview last month on "60 Minutes."
