Larry Flynt claims he made ‘big money’ offer for Casey Anthony to pose nude in Hustler

It's yet to be seen whether Casey Anthony will cash in on the $1.5 million she wants out of an exclusive network TV news interview.

Failing that, she could always go the sleaze route.

Legendary smut-peddler Larry Flynt has confirmed there have been "talks" to have Anthony, who was acquitted earlier this month in the 2008 murder of her 2-year-old daughter, bare all in the pages of his porn magazine, Hustler.

The hardcore nudie rag made an offer to Anthony through her attorney, Flynt told HLN, the CNN-affiliated cable news channel that got a massive ratings bump thanks to anchor Nancy Grace's fierce coverage of the trial. "If this thing goes viral," he said on Thursday night, "she could make millions, more than any other possible interviews she could be involved in."

Anthony's lawyers have denied that the spread is a possibility. "Nonsense," they told CNN.

You can watch video of Flynt below:

Asked how soon a possible deal could be reached, Flynt replied: "I don't want to second guess that.[...] They have a big decision to make, and if they wanna get their hands on big money, they've gotta go through me."

How big? Half a million dollars plus 10 percent of the residual profits, said Flynt, who explained that he'd initially brushed off the idea of approaching Anthony to appear in Hustler. Right after the trial, he'd assumed the many people outraged over the non-guilty verdict would have no interest in seeing Anthony featured in a magazine--naked or otherwise.

But then on a just-wrapped book tour, "dozens of people would come up to" him "and say, 'Why haven't you made an offer to Casey Anthony?'" he told HLN. "I've never been one to shy away from controversy. When no one else would publish the naked photos of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in 1975, I made over $20 million off of them."

Onassis, of course, was a revered former first lady surreptitiously snapped by a paparrazo--as opposed to a hard-partying twentysomething widely believed to have killed her toddler.

Nevertheless, it's hard to imagine that a Casey Anthony spread in Hustler wouldn't fly off newsstands.

Whether it will actually materialize is another matter.
