Jack Hanna: Killing of exotic animals in Ohio ‘is the Sept. 11th of the animal world’

-- Jack Hanna, celebrity wildlife expert, animal activist and television host, on the killing of 49 exotic animals released from a private reserve in Zanesville, Ohio, earlier this month. Marian Thompson--the wife of the preserve's owner, Terry Thompson, who killed himself before setting the animals free--is lobbying to get the six animals that survived back from the Columbus Zoo, where Hanna is director emeritus. "Do you think I will send those animals back to that situation?" Hanna said. "I'm not going to unless somebody drags me out there and throws me in jail."
