A magnificent 1923 French chateau— just minutes from downtown Cleveland? Indeed.

There are copper gutters and downspouts, carved stone archways and wood doorways, and arched gallery-style corridors with marble columns, slate floors, lighted niches, and built-in bookcases. And, there's a three-car heated garage and a vaulted third-floor, two-level tower that can be used as a guest suite.

But what sets this mansion apart is the magnificent view of Lake Erie, overlooking a private beach and an in-ground pool near the lake's edge. (Yes, it has an indoor pool and another in the backyard.)

The listing, posted to Yahoo! Real Estate, bills the mansion as "the best lake front home in Cleveland with the best lake frontage." The photos add credibility to the claim.

The 89-year-old home was designed by James Hamilton of the Cleveland architectural firm Meade & Hamilton. The brick and stucco home with a slate roof was previously owned by Ralph M. Coe, a renowned collector of Native American art, according to the New York Times.

The mansion's listing price is $3.25 million. With a $650,000 down payment and financed for 30 years at a 4.2% fixed rate, your monthly payment will be about $12,000.
