Taylor Swift is not one of those celebrities with a rags to riches story.
The singer's family never squeezed into a shoebox apartment. In fact, Swift, her younger brother Austin, and their parents Scott and Andrea, who split last summer, spent their pre-Nashville days in a Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, home that's quite impressive, to say the least.
The three-story house — which the Swift family left after a decade when Taylor was 14, so that she could pure her dream in Music City — is now on the market for a cool $799,500, according to Zillow.
The 5,050-square-foot residence with six bedrooms was built in 1927, but has been "painstakingly restored" throughout. It has a balcony with sweeping views, an elaborate winding staircase, and bathrooms and a kitchen with marble and granite throughout, as well as a side porch and a two-car garage.
Swifties will also get a kick out of the fact that the 23-year-old once strummed her guitar alongside one of the two fireplaces.
Unfortunately, the new owners of the house will have to put up with fans stopping by to see their idol's former home — something that happens regularly.
Since the "Red" songstress earned an estimated $55 million between June 2012 and June 2013, according to Forbes, she can now afford something even more elaborate.
