Kim Kardashian Slams Katie Couric, Offers Up Proof Why She’s ‘Fake’
It's on between Kim Kardashian and Katie Couric!
Kardashian took to Twitter today to blast Couric after the talk show host said she couldn't wrap her head around the Kardashian phenomenon.
"I don’t understand – why are they so famous?" Couric, 56, told In Touch Weekly. "I think it’s mostly teenage girls that are interested."
Those remarks didn't sit too well with Kim, 32.
Kanye West's baby mama posted the following photo on Instagram of a gift Couric sent the new parents after North West was born.

Couric is hardly the first person to diss reality TV's first family, although Barack Obama is one of the most recent.
The president noted how the American Dream has changed thanks to society's obsession with celebrity culture, and cited Kim and Kanye as examples due to their extreme wealth and consumerism.
"Were there things that all of us might have liked to have? Sure," he admitted before adding, "But partly, I think, there also has been a shift in culture. We weren't exposed to things we didn't have in the same way kids these days are. There was not that window into the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Kids weren't monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing, or where Kanye West was going on vacation, and thinking that somehow that was the mark of success."
Mama bear Kris Jenner fired back, aggressively defending her daughter and Kanye, 35.
"I bet the president has some friends with 10,000-square-foot houses and you probably wouldn't mind going over there, Mr. President, while you were asking them to have a party for you when you were campaigning for dollars to run for president," she quipped. "Kanye West, first of all, doesn't go on vacation. Ever. And Kim Kardashian is the hardest-working young lady in the world. She never sleeps, she never stops, she never slows down and works so hard for what she's got."
The drama keeps rolling for the Kardashians even when the cameras have stopped!
