WATCH: Squirrel Goes on a Rampage

Talk about going nuts. A man in Germany came home to a surprise when he walked in on a panicked squirrel scampering across his fourth-floor apartment. While many would have fled from the the rambunctious rodent, this intrepid naturalist took out his camera and started filming.

The crazed critter runs around the room and up the walls before making a mad dash for freedom by jumping out of the apartment window. Animal lovers need not despair, however.

Although the fall clearly showed that this was no flying squirrel, he was able to land safely on all fours and run back to nature, undoubtedly with one crazy story to tell to his furry friends.
