Get ready comic book fans because Tony Stark is back.

Marvel Studios gave Iron Man fans a first look at the upcoming film "Iron Man 3? with an 18-second teaser-trailer for the film. A full-length trailer is set to debut Tuesday.

The tease doesn't reveal much about the film but there are flashes of a trapped Gwenyth Paltrow, as Pepper Potts, and the back of Mandarin's head, the villain in the film who is played by Ben Kingsley. Robert Downey Jr. is seen sporting an updated Iron Man suit and fielding questions from the media.

"Marvel's 'Iron Man 3' pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds," the official synopsis from Marvel said. "When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle.

"With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: Does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?"

The film is set to hit theaters May 3.

The movie's producer, Marvel Studios, is owned by the Walt Disney Co., as is ABC News.
