Lindsay Lohan Hospitalized After Car Crash: Report

Lindsay Lohan was hospitalized after her Porsche collided with an 18-wheeler, according to ABC News affiliate KABC.

Santa Monica police Sgt. Richard Lewis told KABC that Lohan rear-ended a dump truck while driving on the Pacific Coast Highway this afternoon. She and her male assistant, who was in the passenger seat, were taken by ambulance to a local hospital. She complained of pain and her assistant had a “minor injury,” according to cops. The driver of the truck was not injured. Police are conducting an investigation.

A picture posted on TMZ shows the black Porsche elevated on a flatbed, with significant damage to the windshield and front of the car. TMZ was told the 25-year-old actress “seems OK” and doctors are performing tests.

Calls to Lohan’s rep were not immediately returned.
