Perry Spotted With Heart Shaped Ring
Katy Perry and John Mayer drove the rumor mill crazy when she was spotted wearing a heart-shaped ruby ring on her left finger.
Could the couple be engaged?
The pair, who began dating last summer, shared a romantic Valentine's Day dinner at Vincenti, an Italian restaurant in Los Angeles. Perry, 28, was photographed leaving the restaurant wearing the one-of-a-kind Santa Barbara based jeweler and designer Daniel Gibbings ring. A representative for the jeweler told People magazine that Mayer picked out the sparkler himself.
But it looks like the ring was just an impressive V Day gift. An unnamed source told People the couple are not engaged.
In a recent interview with CBS This Morning, Mayer, 35, said he sees himself getting married in the future.
"Of course. I mean, I'm still the kid from Connecticut. That's what you do," he said.

The singer also said his relationship with Perry is different from past flames including Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson and Taylor Swift. He said he's "quite happy" with the "I Kissed a Girl" singer.
"I don't feel like I'm in a celebrity relationship. For the first time in my life I don't feel like I'm in a celebrity relationship," he said. "I really don't. I'm not in a high profile - I know it's high profile. It's hard to explain . "
