Ryan Murphy is a first-time father.

The man behind television's "Glee," "American Horror Story" and "The New Normal" welcomed a son on Christmas Eve with husband David Miller, according to E! News.

E! cited an email announcement sent out to friends and family of the couple that read: "Logan Phineas Miller Murphy, Born December 24, 2012 9:47 a.m."

The announcement also revealed birth details, including Logan's weight (6.6 pounds) and height (21 inches), and was accompanied by a photo of the baby peeking out of a Christmas stocking.

Murphy and Miller were married in Provincetown, Mass., last July.
