'Dancing With the Stars' All-Stars: Pro Louis Van Amstel Talks Trio Dances

" Dancing With the Stars" pro Louis van Amstel blogs on season 15 of "DWTS." The three-time world dance champion and creator of LaBlast fitness-based dance DVD workouts returns for his eighth season and takes you behind the scenes on the hit ABC show. You can find him on Twitter @LouisvanAmstel.

It felt absolutely amazing to be part of the trio dances Monday night, especially dancing with Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy. Since the first season of "Dancing" I have wanted to dance with Kelly and finally, after seven years, it happened! We had such fun with each other in every rehearsal. Sometimes it got a little steamy and I'm glad I was present for that. (Don't hate, Val, haha)

What most of you might not know is that I have worked with Val since he was 12 years old, so you can imagine how much fun it was dancing with him as well. Val and Maks Chmerkovskiy and I were talking how special of a moment our trio Jive was.

I really appreciate Kelly's kind words during the video package before the trio Jive and even though it makes me feel like the dad pro. It's such a pleasure to be working alongside the pros I used to train and coach before "Dancing With the Stars." They're keeping me on my toes, that's for sure! Recap: In Week of Military Tributes, Trio Dances, Melissa Rycroft Reigns I don't know about you guys, but I'm so confused about who's on top, adding up two weeks' scores and all your votes. It's so hard right now to say who'll go home tonight. ( Click here to see leader board). To make things even more nerve wracking, it's a double elimination night again. Anyone could go home, because there was no bottom two for weeks. We might know the judges scores, but no one knows where the couples stand with your votes.

Wasn't it nice for the show to dedicate Monday night's episode to veterans? It was awesome to see so many men and women from the armed forced in the audience. It was so sweet to see smiles on their faces all night. They light up the room, so heartfelt.

Just two more weeks and this "All-Star" season will be over. Can you believe it? Even though we'll all be sad when this season is over, I am so looking forward to dance our Rumba again with Sabrina in the finale show. I miss dancing with her. Can't wait to rehearse again.

I hope your favorite couple will still be in the competition after tonight's double elimination.

Love,

Louis
