Blake Shelton Loves Gwen Stefani Makeup-Free: 'She Looks 25 - It's Literally Unbelievable'
Blake Shelton was just crowned PEOPLE‘s Sexiest Man Alive 2017, and in his eyes, girlfriend of two years Gwen Stefani is deserving of her own sexiest woman title. And even though the glamorous singer’s known for her signature winged cat eye and bold red lipstick, in Shelton’s eyes, Stefani looks the most beautiful completely barefaced.
“My favorite thing to see on her — and I don’t mean this to sound cheesy — is no makeup on whatsoever,” the country crooner told PeopleStyle. “She’s literally ageless. It’s unbelievable.”
Although he won’t deny that Stefani can rock a red lip like no other (he calls out her “Revlon red” lips in his song “Turnin’ Me On” on his newest album), he wishes the rest of the world could see the woman he spends time with behind closed doors.
“When she gets fixed up, she’s beautiful. There is no question about it. Her red lips are her signature and so that’s why it got written into the song,” Shelton said, but “the Gwen that nobody gets to see is the one that you all should see.”
He continued, saying that the 48-year-old mom of mom of three “looks like she is 25 years old. I don’t know what kind of genetics God gave her, but it’s literally unbelievable!”

Stefani can’t stop raving about her man either, especially upon hearing his Sexiest Man Alive title announcement. “I guess I’ve been kissing the #sexiestmanalive all this time but @people I knew that already!” she tweeted Wednesday morning.
“He’s perfect for it,” the star told PEOPLE exclusively. “Somebody that is funny and has a sense of humor is sexy — that’s the No. 1 thing.”

Shelton admits that their very different style has rubbed off on each other a bit, but he’s not letting anyone — even his stylish girlfriend — near his hair.
“I don’t wanna mess with my hair. I hate fixing my hair because its turning gray it kind of has a mind of its own,” Shelton admitted. “When my hair used to be brown it would do what I said, but when it goes gray it turns into a Brillo pad — so I put a baseball cap on. The Brillo pad drives women crazy!”
