BK councilwoman discusses increased youth incarceration
NEW YORK (PIX11) – Youth incarceration in New York has nearly doubled in the past two years.
The spike has led to concerns about overcrowding in juvenile facilities, culminating with a heated exchange during a City Council criminal justice hearing last Friday. Brooklyn Councilwoman Sandy Nurse joins PIX11 to discuss the situation.
