Bipartisan US Congress delegation arrives in Kyiv
U.S. Embassy welcomes congressional delegation, consisting of both Republican and Democratic parties’ members in Kyiv on April 22 following Congress finally passing $60-bln long-awaited bill on aid to Ukraine, US Embassy reported on X.

The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv is pleased to welcome a bipartisan congressional delegation today — Congressmen Tom Keane, Bill Keating, Madeleine Dean, and Nathaniel Moran, its message wrote.
“Your visit is another reminder that our commitment to Ukraine is unwavering.”
Congress passed bill on aid to Ukraine
The U.S. House voted to allocate $60 billion to Ukraine through Bill 8035, orchestrated by the team of House Speaker Mike Johnson on April 20. The bill saw strong support, with 311 congressmen voting in favor, 112 against, and one abstaining.

In addition to Ukraine aid, aid packages for Israel and Indo-Pacific security also passed, totaling $95 billion. The share of aid partitioned for supporting Ukraine amounts to $61 billion, of which approximately $14 billion is earmarked for assisting with Ukrainian purchases of military equipment.
The bill is scheduled for consideration by the U.S. Senate on April 23, and, following approval, will be signed into law by President Joe Biden.
The bill also obliges U.S. President to provide Ukraine with ATACMS ballistic missiles, which Ukrainian officials have previously said would enable a greater range for Ukrainian strike capabilities.
