Billy Joel to be a dad again at 68 after revealing his wife is seven months pregnant
Billy Joel appears to have accidentally revealed that he will be a father again at the age of 68.
The Piano Man crooner and his fourth wife, Alexis Roderick, will welcome their second child next month after it was revealed she is seven months pregnant.
Speaking to The Belfast Telegraph, Joel made the shocking announcement when his wife appeared in the room during the interview, heavily pregnant.
‘We are due next month,’ he seemed to nonchalantly tell the reporter.
Asked if he was worried about suffering from a lack of sleep when the new addition to the family arrives, he said: ‘This one is pretty good,’ referring to two-year daughter Della Rose.
‘She sleeps through the night. I hope the next one will.’
Joel and Roderick started dating in 2009 and got married at his Oyster Bay mansion on July 4, 2015.
Joel is also father to Alexa Ray Joel, 31, with ex-wife Christie Brinkley .
