Billie Lourd reached out to everyone having a tough Mother's Day with a photo of Carrie Fisher

Mother's day can be a difficult time for many who have lost a parent.

Actress Billie Lourd uploaded a photo of herself with her mother Carrie Fisher to Instagram on Sunday. 

"This one goes out to anyone having a less than perfect Mother’s Day today," she wrote in the caption. "We are not alone. Sending all my love and strength to anyone who needs it."

Carrie Fisher died in December 2016, and spending Mother's Day without a mother is tough on anyone.
