‘Big League Weekend’ comes for Las Vegas Ballpark

LAS VEGAS (KLAS)—The Las Vegas Ballpark will host Big League Weekend in Las Vegas, during which the Milwaukee Brewers will take on the Oakland Athletics.

Las Vegas Ballpark, home to the minor league Las Vegas Aviators, will play host to the event. The Aviators are the minor league affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. Oakland will be making its eighth appearance in Las Vegas.

The team played the first six games of the 1996 MLB season at Cashman Field due to construction delays in their home stadium.

This will be Milwaukee’s fourth appearance for Big League Weekend.

Game 1 is Friday, March 8, at 6:05 p.m., and game 2 is Saturday, March 9th, at 1:05 p.m.
