Big Brother winner and television presenter Brian Dowling Gourounlian has announced that he and husband Arthur Gourounlian are to be parents for the second time.

Brian shot to fame after winning the second civilian series of Big Brother in 2001 (and later, Ultimate Big Brother in 2010). He and Arthur, a dancer and reality TV show judge, married in 2015.

They became fathers to a baby girl named Blake in 2022 – and today (March 9) announced that their family is expanding as they prepare to welcome another baby in just a few months' time.

"Our family is going to get bigger," Dowling wrote in the caption to his announcement post on Instagram.

"We... are so excited about the arrival of Baby Dowling Gourounlian Number 2 this Summer," he continued alongside several pictures of their first child, Blake, wearing a sweater that reads: 'Promoted to big sister.'

"We have already been so blessed with Blake we can't believe how lucky we are as parents to welcome another baby to our family. Blake is going to be the BEST BIG SISTER EVER."

The comments on Brian's post have been flooded with congratulations for the pair.

After winning Ultimate Big Brother, Brian hosted Big Brother and its celebrity version on Channel 5 between 2011 and 2013.

He is the narrator of ITV reality series The Real Housewives of Cheshire, also hosting numerous reunion specials.

Celebrity Big Brother airs Sundays through Fridays at 9pm on ITV1 and the ITV Hub, followed by Late & Live on ITV2 immediately after each new episode.
