Big Brothers Big Sisters plant sale continues
If you’re looking for a way to get outside this weekend and support a good cause in the process, consider checking out the Big Brothers Big Sisters plant sale.
People could place an order earlier in the spring, but if you missed it, there are still plenty of flowers available to choose from.
Kayla Kiesey, with Big Brothers Big Sisters, says this fundraiser is all about supporting kids in the community.
“This fundraiser is all to support one-to-one youth mentoring right here in the Quad Cities,” she said. “So we’re supporting kids who need that positive role model, a mentor in their life to spend some time with and see that they have potential, they have a future. we have opportunities and resources that can help them and their families.”
The sale runs through Monday right by NorthPark Mall in Davenport.
