‘Big Brother’ Contestant Pops Big Question Before Exiting the House

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Big Brother 19’s most public showmance between Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf, aka “Jody”, was sadly torn apart just as things were really heating up. On top of being cursed to hop around in an embarrassing frog costume, Jessica was having a hard time as her fellow houseguests started turning their backs on her while her only partner in the house was soon-to-be evicted. Knowing that it was basically his fault that she was being cast off from the rest of the clan, Cody decided to make one last game move before his goodbye. “I feel like I’m going home this week,” said Cody. “I’m feeling pretty bad about the position I put Jessica in. She’s down in the dumps, she’s crying. The least I can do for Jess is set her up for success for the rest of the game. Good starting point for that- dropping some names, dropping some bombs, stirring the pot a little bit.” So, Cody approached Christmas privately and told her that she needed to “get on the same page” with Alex and Jess, since they are now the strongest female competitors in the house. Goodbye, “Jody”. Following the live eviction, it was a bittersweet goodbye for Jody. By a final vote of 7-3, Cody was forced to leave the house. However, he didn’t leave without asking Jessica to be his girlfriend. She said yes. Cody exited the house and joined Julie Chen on stage for his post-eviction interview where the host asked, “So this is a real relationship, one that you hope to pursue outside the house?” Cody replied, “Absolutely.” But what would Big Brother be without a major twist? Julie then revealed to Cody that there is yet another twist in the game. One that will give him a second chance at the $500,000 prize and an opportunity to reunite with his new girlfriend... after next week’s live eviction.
