The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco has been cooking up a surprise for fans of the show ever since its debut season.

The actress plays Penny in the beloved CBS sitcom – which will air its final episode later this year after 12 seasons – and is known on social media for sharing sneak peeks behind-the-scenes via her Instagram account.

Her secret project blows that out of the water, though.

Discussing it with AOL recently, Kaley revealed that she's captured 2,000 Polaroid images since the beginning of Big Bang's production – dating back to 2006 – and will release them in a monster behind-the-scenes book.

"You know what? That is what I'm going to do," she stated. "I'll wait about another year or two, but that's the goal with the Polaroids. I think fans will love it. [Maybe] a cool coffee table book? I have pictures that are unbelievable, like behind-the-scenes from the pilot that are just incredible."

So even though Penny, Sheldon, Leonard and the gang are departing our TV screens, their mischief will live on through Kaley's exciting collection.

Meanwhile, the actress recently admitted that she's "already losing it" as the cast and crew wrap up the final season.

The Big Bang Theory's final season airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on CBS and CBS All Access in the US. E4 airs the show in the UK.
