Big age gaps are all the talk of Take Me Out

It was all about the age gap debate on tonight's Take Me Out: The Gossip, with two couples having an issue with the years that separate them.

There was also a serious case of #PieGate – despite pulling all the moves they had, Tommy and Bayo we're just not getting anywhere with their older women.

Tommy is nine years younger than Cara-Jane, who at 30 felt that Tommy (and his twirly moustache) was far too young for her, even though she thought he was her type.

He wasn't at all bothered though and said he would "still woo the socks off" her. Bless him.

After they hit the Fernando strip, he had second thoughts about the age gap issue.

"We are getting on really well, but no matter what I say or how much I charm her, I just can't shrink that age gap and it's really bugging me to be honest, because I like an older bird."

There was a 10-year age gap between Miriam and Bayo and despite calling him a "gentleman" she was not interested at all and didn't want to schedule another date.

"Yeah, I think we're just friends, obviously we're just mates and sometimes that happens," she told him.

"We can stay friends, definitely," she continued before killing ANY hope of him breaking her down by giving him a high five.

On the other end, Luke and Emily we're seriously loved up and despite looking like they'd make it, they only lasted a couple of dates in the UK before packing things in.

Easily the most entertaining and well-matched couple ever on Take Me Out, Rixey and Krystal, ended the show as just mates and we're a bit heartbroken.

Take Me Out: The Gossip airs on ITV2.
