WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) – President Joe Biden and former president Donald Trump are kicking their campaigns into high gear to rally voters ahead of the November election.

President Biden has increased his travel schedule, campaigning in Georgia, D.C., and New Hampshire, as he and his political rival try to appeal to as many voters as possible.

“Our freedoms are literally on the ballot this November,” Biden said.

Over the weekend both candidates held their own rallies in Georgia.   President Biden urged Americans to get out and vote in November to prevent another Trump presidency.

“When he says he wants to be a dictator, I believe him,” Biden said.

While Trump blamed Biden for problems at the southern border.

“What Joe Biden has done on our border is a crime against humanity,” Trump said.

Biden also accused Trump of going after women’s rights.

“Regulate guns, not women,” said Biden.

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders says Trump is not the way to go.

“The election of Trump would be a disaster in this country,” said Sanders.

Alabama Republican Senator Katie Britt said Biden doesn’t know what Americans care about.

“Republicans care about kitchen table issues,” Britt said.

Georgia, Mississippi, Wisconsin and Hawaii will hold primary elections Tuesday giving both Biden and Trump the opportunity to lock in the nomination for their parties.
