By his own logic, Biden should resign

At the Oct. 22, 2020, debate against then-President Donald Trump, Joe Biden said anyone who is responsible for 220,000 deaths from COVID should not be president.

Now, here it is December 2021 and these 220,000 deaths have increased to 813,000.

By my calculations, Joe Biden is now responsible for 417,000 deaths — more than the 396,000 who died while Trump was president. By his own thought process, Biden should have resigned several months ago, especially since he told us he was going to fix this.

Unbelievable that that many people could have voted for this incompetent, probably criminal person to lead this great nation.

Vaccination should not be a tough call

It is hard to understand why so many Americans oppose taking the COVID vaccine and booster shots. The United States has eradicated many diseases over the last hundred years, mostly through vaccines.

It is so frustrating that so many people distrust our government when there’s proof positive that this vaccine prevents death. After close to a year of vaccinations, why do cynics still question the vaccine? How much time is enough time to evaluate the long-term effects?

Portraying Dr. Anthony Fauci as a villain is ludicrous. Consider his years-long excellent reputation. As director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Fauci was sounding the alarm about COVID.

His advice about wearing masks and social distancing to prevent COVID has been validated everywhere. Donald Trump and his administration downplayed COVID and promoted false and malicious alternatives that did not protect anyone from COVID.

Now Republicans are saying Fauci is over-hyping COVID. Over 5 million people worldwide have died from COVID. This is a worldwide epidemic.

It should not be a hard decision … get vaccinated!
