Bicyclist injured after being struck by vehicle in downtown Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A bicyclist was injured after being struck by a vehicle in downtown Bakersfield Monday morning, according to Bakersfield police.

Officers said the collision happened near L and 25th Streets around 9:15 a.m. The male bicyclist was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries, but the exact extent of injuries was not known.

According to BPD, drugs, alcohol or speed do not appear to be factors in the collision.

"We believe that AI voices should not deliberately mimic a celebrity's distinctive voice—Sky’s voice is not an imitation of Scarlett Johansson but belongs to a different professional actress using her own natural speaking voice," the company wrote in a blog post.
