Beyoncé is embarrassed by her mom's social media presence, too

If you're a fan of Beyoncé or Solange then you're likely also a big fan of their mother, the formidable Tina Lawson, who has played a critical role in both sisters' successes.

If you're really a fan of Ms. Tina, then you know all about her Instagram and look forward to the behind the scenes shots and adorable videos. Turns out, however, that Beyoncé is just like all of us when it comes to parents on social media and wants her mamma to slow it down with the posts.

"You know, Beyoncé was telling me the other day that I shouldn't do corny jokes all the time but I told her that when you get my age, you gotta find your light," Lawson explained in one of her usual "corny joke time" videos.

"So if you find some good light, you're supposed to take advantage of it. I've done quite a few in one spot so I could have them but it's okay, I'm 63, what can I say," she said.

Good Morning Sunshines❤️Happy Thursday.

Usually Bey's word is law but despite what she says, keep posting, Ms. Tina. As far as what the joke actually is—don't worry, it's a great one. It's always a great one.
