The world of sports got a visit from the world of politics this week after President Donald Trump spent his Saturday tweeting about the NFL and NBA. The president called out NFL players who kneel during the national anthem, saying they should be fired, which spurred an increase in the movement across that league and several others.

Pre-game ceremonies weren't the only aspects of football matchups garnering attention, as several notable moments -- including a Jacksonville blowout of Baltimore and a serious injury to Davante Adams -- created the wildest week so far this season.

In baseball, the playoff chase is going down to the wire, with the American League and National League Wild Card teams still undecided as of Friday afternoon.
