Emotions ran high across several major sporting leagues this week.

In Las Vegas, in what was not just the franchise's first home game since the deadly massacre earlier this month but also its first home game ever, the Vegas Golden Knights took 58 seconds to honor those who lost their lives at the Route 91 Harvest Festival. It was a powerful display that included the projection of each of the victim's names on the ice before the Golden Knights went on to defeat the Arizona Coyotes.

Several high-stakes games have been played during the MLB playoffs, which began last week. The Washington Nationals continued their streak without a postseason series win while the Boston Red Sox fell short of a comeback and the Wild Card New York Yankees clinched a spot in the ALCS.

One of the wildest NFL seasons in recent memory continued as well, giving us a quintessential Aaron Rodgers comeback win on Sunday, as well as plenty of other highlights.
