Best friends from Wisconsin & a former Green Bay Packer among the competitors in the 36th Amazing Race

(WFRV) – Two Wisconsinites, as well as a former Green Bay Packer player, will be competing in this season’s Amazing Race.

According to a press release from CBS, Sunny Pulver and Bizzy Smith are competing as a team on the 36th Amazing Race. The show will have its season premiere on Wednesday, March 13 right here on Local 5.

Pulver and Smith are reportedly best friends and firefighters. The two are from Edgerton and New Berlin, according to CBS. 13 new teams are participating in this season’s race.

The race will reportedly kick off from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and teams must participate in a traditional Mexican rodeo.

Former NFL Player Rod Gardner and his wife Leticia are also competing in the race. Gardner played most of his NFL career with the then-named Washington Redskins. He did play two games with the Green Bay Packers.
