Bernie Sanders blesses meme lovers with a poster-sized Trump tweet
It's the circle of life, guys: Bernie Sanders printed a Donald Trump tweet on a poster board and brought it to the Senate floor, so the internet is making weird memes out of it.
Sanders used the big, big printout to remind the Senate — which is currently debating repealing the Affordable Care Act — that, before joining the presidential race, Trump promised not to cut Medicare, Medicaid or Social Security.

Here is that tweet (which is still up, by the way).
I was the first & only potential GOP candidate to state there will be no cuts to Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid. Huckabee copied me.

And here is the Vermont senator with that tweet, made flesh with ink and foam board, on the Senate floor.

Perhaps he knew that bringing a tweet poster to Congress would get his point some attention. Perhaps he was accommodating those Senators who did not bring their glasses that day. But whatever he thought would happen, he gave Twitter a blank canvas on which to Photoshop.
And Photoshop it did. Here are a few highlights.
