Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office plans DWI checkpoints in May

BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office will conduct sobriety checkpoints and DWI-directed patrols throughout the month of May.

Deputies will be looking for people driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Community members are asked to report drivers they believe are impaired by calling 911. The sheriff’s office also encouraged people who go out and drink to use rideshare services.
