Bentonville Anime-Fest brings fandoms together

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Northwest Arkansas’ anime lovers rejoiced at the Four Points Hotel for the Bentonville Anime-Fest today.

The one-day event offered a chance for anime fans to meet with voice actors from some of their favorite shows and get access to a wide variety of collectables.

Voice actors Chuck Huber (Dragon Ball Z, My Hero Academia, Yu Yu Hakusho), Tiffany Vollmer (Dragon Ball Z, Yu Yu Hakusho, Case Closed) and Laurie Hymes (Pokemon, Yu Gi Oh) attended the event.

Bentonville Anime-Fest had vendors, art tables and a cosplay contest, along with a Super Smash Bros tournament for players to put their skills to the test.
