Ben & Jerry's Releases Vegan Peanut Butter Half Baked and Cinnamon Buns Ice Cream

Just because you don't eat dairy doesn't mean you have to miss out on the joys of eating ice cream, and Ben & Jerry's just made it even easier for vegans and dairy-sensitive people alike to enjoy the tasty treat (even if temperatures are below freezing). The creamery has created vegan versions of two new flavors, Pop Sugar reports, and they picked two of their best.

One of the two flavors to get the dairy-free treatment is Peanut Butter Half Baked — not to be confused with Half Baked, which is made with chocolate chip cookie dough. Fans will likely recognize the name as a mouthwatering combination of peanut butter cookie dough, chocolate fudge brownie bits, and vanilla and chocolate ice cream. The other new vegan flavor, Cinnamon Bun, is cinnamon ice cream with cinnamon bun dough and (in case there wasn't enough spice for your life) a cinnamon streusel swirl. Yum.

If for some inexplicable reason, those don't appeal to you, Ben & Jerry's also makes vegan ice cream in seven other flavors: Caramel Almond Brittle, Cherry Garcia, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Chunky Monkey, Coconut Seven-Layer Bar, Caramel Coffee Fudge, and PB & Cookies. Unlike some other vegan ice creams, which are sometimes made with coconut milk or soy milk, Ben & Jerry's uses almond milk because it doesn't have a strong flavor, so the flavor of the ice cream itself comes out. Which is perfect, because all these flavors sound amazing. The phrase "I scream for ice cream" never seemed truer.
