Ben Affleck Went All In for Father-Daughter Date Night
Ben Affleck may have just moved out of his house with Jennifer Garner, but he's proving he'll be there for his kids no matter where he calls home. On Saturday night, he accompanied his daughter Seraphina to a father-daughter dance in LA.
The special night proved to be a family affair. A source told E! News that - true to the couple's coparenting commitment - Jennifer Garner helped with the arrangements and assisted in picking out a dress for her 8-year-old daughter.
It might not have been a Hollywood awards show, but Affleck made sure it was a night to remember. He wore a suit and presented Seraphina with a white corsage, which she returned with a boutonniere. He even ordered a limo to take them to the dance. At the dance, the source said that "the two were walking around holding hands and he was very sweet with her. They both had a lot of fun dancing and hanging out with their friends."
Despite rumors that the dad of three is looking to move on now that divorce proceedings have started, it seems he's more committed to being there for his family and figuring out their new normal while taking some time to himself. The source confirmed that the Oscar winner isn't dating anyone seriously while he settles into the new home he moved into nearby to his former home. Seems like he's leaving that part of his life open for someone truly special: his kids.
