Bemidji City Council to hold public hearings for outdoor dining

May 6—BEMIDJI — The

Bemidji City Council

will hold several public hearings during its meeting tonight, including two for outdoor dining licenses for Bar 209 and Keg N' Cork.

Including those two hearings, a total of five public hearings will be held during the meeting, starting with one on the city's stormwater pollution prevention program.

Following the two public hearings on outdoor dining, the last two will be held on ordinances related to the city's development code.

The final item of business the council will consider is awarding a bid for the reconstruction of 15th Street Northwest. A total of three bids were submitted, with the recommendation being to award the project to Sparky's Construction Incorporated for $761,727.50.

Under current plans, construction on the project would begin in early July and end in October.
