Dave says about Matt’s passion for the Irish culture, “I think that was very important for him, at least the impression I got, to produce and generate the Irish culture here in northeast Wisconsin, and I think he did a great job doing it.”

He also added that Matt was an appreciative person. About Matt’s work with the festival, Dave Miller says, “I would remember looking out after I got done with my thing on that Saturday, and that place was packed, and I just thought, ‘Wow, this is really something.’ I know he had a lot of people who worked with him on it, but I think that’s going to be his big legacy.”
