Bella Hadid Wore Denim on Denim
Just weeks after inspiring us to embrace an entirely camouflage wardrobe and Bella Hadid has changed the fashion game again. During a recent event for True Religion, the model debuted her very chic version of the denim tuxedo.
Along with revealing her brand new bangs, Bella also rocked a high-fashion take on a classic denim and denim outfit. The look started with a tank-top that showed just a hint of her stomach. She paired it with a pair of denim pants that hit just above her ankles. Both top and bottom featured coordinating seams, while the pants also had an detailed four-button closure.
While this new take on a classic was fashionable enough on its own, Bella upped the ensemble's edginess with the addition of matching leopard print accessories. She toted a leopard print handbag with a string handle on the red carpet, and matched it to a pair of leopard print heels that featured ribbons. She rounded off the very fashion-forward appearance with a pair of hoop earrings and long, wavy hair.
It would also seem that the Hadid sisters are having a moment with bangs. Gigi rocked a wigged version of baby bangs earlier this week and Bella previously wore a sideswept version of the style over the summer. She's also even been known to rock temporary clip-in versions of the hairstyle.
As for her denim tuxedo, Bella's take was a bit more appropriate for warmer weather than versions sported by other celebs who embraced the trend. Her tank and short pant combo took a nod from past denim on denim looks rocked by Rihanna, her sister Gigi, and Brittney Spears. Even Hailey Baldwin has gotten in on the combo, wearing an acid-wash version for a date with Justin Bieber.
Every one of these takes on the denim tuxedo might be different, but it's definitely a classic style that always looks effortless.
