Beecher scored two goals including the game-winner in a 4-2 win over Springfield for the Providence Bruins last Friday night. For the effort, Beecher was tabbed as one of the AHL’s Three Stars of The Night which highlights an outstanding performance on the ice.

Beecher, 22, started the year in the NHL with the Boston Bruins and showed high talent and promise as the fourth line center. After being sent to Providence in late January, Beecher is looking to make the most of his opportunity back in the AHL.

In 15 games so far, Beecher has three goals and two assists. In Boston, Beecher appeared in 39 total games registering five goals and two assists in his rookie season with the Bruins. Beecher was third on the team in faceoff wins (208) at the time in Boston before being reassigned to Providence.

The 2019 first round draft pick of the Bruins will aim to keep bettering his game in Providence and fight for a shot back in the NHL. 18 Sports will have plenty more on Beecher’s progress in the game as it develops.
